User Guide
General Safety
- Do not place the dehumidifier directly above or below a power outlet.
- Do not place excessive weight upon the dehumidifier.
- Do not allow children to mess with or play with the dehumidifier at any time.
- Do not attempt to repair or modify the dehumidifier.
- Do not leave the dehumidifier plugged in for excessive periods of disuse.
Before Operation
- Always ensure that the dehumidifier is indoors and that the windows and doors are shut before operation.
- Ensure that the vents of the dehumidifier are unobstructed and clean.
- Ensure that the area is free of metal dust, flammable fumes, and other flammable or dangerous substances or gasses.
- Do not place or operate the dehumidifier around heating elements.
- Do not use the dehumidifier in any kind of vehicle.
- Do not use the dehumidifier in a windy or drafty area.
- Do not use the dehumidifier on soft or uneven surfaces.
- Ensure that the dehumidifier is not damaged.
Tools and Materials
Dehumidifier, drainage hose, soft cloth, and access to electricity.
During Operation
- Do not touch the dehumidifier or power cable with wet body parts if it is plugged in.
- Do not unplug or move the dehumidifier while it is working.
- Unplug the power cable from the wall using the hard plastic at the end, not by pulling on the cord itself.
- Never drink, bathe, or wash items using water collected by the dehumidifier.
Operation Instructions
- The dehumidifier has three indicator lights, one for each of the following functions: indicating that the dehumidifier is connected to power, indicating that the dehumidifier is operating, and indicating that the water tank is full and the dehumidifier is no longer working. These are labeled on the dehumidifier above the power button from left to right, respectively.
- If you would like to use an external drainage tank or system:
- Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the water tank.
- Connect the drain hose to the drain hole.
- Ensure that the drainage tank is lower than the bottom of the water tank.
- Ensure that the water tank is fully inserted.
- Plug in the dehumidifier’s power cable to an electrical outlet, and the blue power indicator light will illuminate.
- Press the power button to begin operation, and the blue operation indicator light will illuminate.
- When the water tank is full, the dehumidifier will cease operation and the red non-working indicator light will illuminate.
- When the water tank is ready to be drained:
- Pull on the handle located on the bottom-front of the water tank to remove it.
- Empty the tank and replace it by pushing it back into place.
- Unplug the dehumidifier if it will not be used in the near future.
Cleaning Instructions
- If the dehumidifier is operating (the blue operation indicator light is illuminated) power off the device by pressing the power button.
- Unplug the dehumidifier from the electrical outlet.
- Ensure that the water tank is empty.
- Remove the water tank.
- Lift off the cover from the top of the water tank.
- Clean the exterior, interior, and cover of the water tank using a soft cloth and appropriate plastic cleaning agents.
- Rinse the exterior, interior, and cover of the water tank thoroughly.
- Drain and dry the water tank.
- Replace the water tank in the dehumidifier, ensuring that the float switch is not obstructed.
Storage Instructions
- Power off and unplug the dehumidifier if necessary.
- Follow the above cleaning instructions.
- Dry all components of the dehumidifier with a soft cloth.
- Store the dehumidifier upright in an area that is not exposed to direct sunlight.
